NO DOUBT.

In this work, I first created the surface. I prepared a rough, worn, and textured background because I believe the background should also tell a story. This layered structure carries both a physical and emotional texture. Then, I formed the figure and cut a special stencil to preserve its meaning.

After fixing the stencil onto the surface, I sprayed with a single motion. I did not restrict the flow of the color but guided its direction. The spilling, dripping, and interaction of the paint with the surface were natural results that I did not intervene in. This was the balance I established between the emotional and technical aspects of the work.

The words “GOD” and “UNTAMED FIRE” also reflect this duality. The former is fixed, distinct, and authoritative; the latter is uncontrolled, instinctive, and free.

Experimentation was an integral part of this creative process. The chaos in the visual was guided not by technical discipline but by intuitive control. The goal was to leave both an image and a feeling with the viewer.
