dontwantwar.
dontwantwar. is a conscious reversal of the RAW philosophy — a visual rebellion born from a mind that believes in peace but is forced to confront war.
This piece was created for my closest friend İsmail’s birthday — both as a gift to him, and as a language for the things I could never say. It carries a personal connection, yet speaks a universal language where anyone can find a piece of themselves. The central figure is a digitally constructed knight. His silhouette doesn’t just symbolize a warrior — it carries the weight of the past, inner conflicts, and unspoken burdens.
The symbols on the knight’s armor relate to things between us. I won’t explain them.
The word “WAR” appears three times. Behind it, hidden piranhas represent people who hide behind conflict — sharp-toothed, ready to attack, but in truth, simple and fragile. For them, it’s not even about fighting; it’s only about winning. No reasons, no direction — just habit, just fear. War becomes the only place where they can feel like they exist.
